The victim, identified as Kathya Josselyn Bartolo Luis, 26 years old, was working at a toll collection booth when she received two chocolate bars from a driver. Minutes after ingesting one of them, she began to present severe symptoms including chest pain, stomach discomfort, and accelerated heart rate, which evidenced a rapid physical deterioration.
Given the gravity of the situation, her colleagues requested help and the young woman was transferred to a medical center. However, despite medical efforts, she died shortly after admission, amid a critical emergency condition.
What Caused the Cashier's Death?
According to information disseminated by Blu Radio, the cause of death would be related to a cerebral hemorrhage associated with possible severe intoxication. Nevertheless, authorities continue with forensic studies to confirm if it is a case of poisoning.
In this regard, investigators seized the second chocolate bar to subject it to specialized analysis. Additionally, they seek to identify the driver who delivered the product, in order to establish if there is any relationship with the case and clarify the circumstances of this event.
